Our Founding
Family is the foundation of our business. It defines our values and it guides us in our goal of being the most innovative and responsible textile supplier in the US.
These values and goals began in 1987 - after the Swartz Family sold Excello Products, a consumer goods textile manufacturer from Chicago. At the time, our founder, Rama Barad, was the General Manager of Excello Products, and was given his blessing from his mentor - Jack Schwartz (former President of Excello Products) to chart his own path and to take control of his family’s destiny. With his wife, Kusum Barad, at his side and a joint venture partnership with Ravi Kothari from India, R&R Textile Mills Inc was born.
Now and the Future
While our family foundation and values will always remain, our company has evolved from its humble beginnings. A timeline of this evolution is written below. That being said, our company is continuously evolving and adapting to the needs of the market. We are excited about what the future holds!
2012: Transition to Intacct ERP
2013: Launch of its E-Commerce Division
2014: Launch of its DTG Printing and Embroidery Facility in Chicago
2016: Launch of its Processing and Dying Facility in Chicago
2018: Launch of R&R Textile Mills PVT LTD in India and Pakistan
2019: Transition to Net Suites-Oracle ERP Infrastructure
